Old People losing USB cables - suggestion

Dealing with a family member and they lost their Ian cable for charging the dogs bark collar.

I'm looking for something that will lock the USB into a power strip that has 4 charging ports.

I found this and it's allows you to capture a cable to the wall.

Pro-Grade, Slim, 1"x .6" Cable Tie Mounts With Screws 100 Pack. High Strength, Black Zip Tie Bases For Wire Management. Permanently Anchor To Wall, Desk or Baseboard. Run Cords at Your Home or Office https://a.co/d/cJcfQc0

Any suggestions on keeping a forgetful person from losing a cable?

It has a label maker 3" long label explaining what the cable is but they saw a cable not being used and it went somewhere.

    Thanks

They must be moving the charger around?

It's probably a USB A to micro usb so I can't imagine they would be using it for anything else.

Ours stays in the same place 24/7

When you get to be older or old, sometimes one must tidy up and hide things from yourself.

The dog bark collar charging is a round charger of unknown diameter.

        $11 for a new one.

If frys was open, I would have gone and found one that fit.

get long enough cable it can be tied around something.

I got USB blocks and cables on several outlets around the house, some haven't been used in months.

Get a cable that matches color/pattern that helps them remember, like matches the dog collar.

USB is USB. If it fits, it will work. The U stands for Universal.

Zip ties are your friend. Your cable tie mounts look like a good solution but I don’t think I would pay that price for what you’re trying to do. Perhaps just use zip ties to tie all the cords together or to something else? Maybe just screw an eye bolt somewhere and zip tie to it?

It's USB A at the power source

The other end is not USB A

A lot of newer shock Collars still charge using USB A to Micro USB.

I ended up getting a package of 1/4" cable clamps for $2 at depot

2 were CA glued to the power strip

Cables inserted and CA glued shut. I used baking powder as a binder on both glue ups.

I then squirted clear silicon into the remaining space on the cables.

                            I hope this lasts

I'm interested to hear if they say anything when they find that they can't tidy up anymore
