    Windows Firewall Inbound Rules Q

I happened upon Windows Firewall > Advanced Settings > Inbound rules
and noticed Chrome had a couple of Green Checked Lines and a couple of Grey checked Lines. I deleted the Grey checked lines and seem to have inadvertently found a cure for slow loading web pages.

Carrying this to a logical next step, am I correct in reasoning that I can remove other grey checked inbound (and outbound) rules to help clean and speed things up?

For example File and Printer Sharing has some green and some grey - can I delete the grey lines and not screw things up?

How about deleting greyed out "Distributed Transaction Coordinator" or "Media Center Extenders"?

    TIA!

I would be very careful with removing firewall rules. Now, if a rule is causing problems with, for example, file and printer sharing, it's time to investigate further.

Your firewall should be stateful. Inbound rules should not affect outbound connections you initiate.
