    Mouse for Macbook Pro

Picked up a Macbook Pro 14" yesterday. Only has USB C ports so my old wireless mouse from my PC will not work. Looked at Apple and other products, but the reviews are not so great, even for the more expensive Apple products.

The only choices appear to be Bluetooth. I could buy a docking station with USB A ports. This would add some bulk to the machine but is not a deal breaker.

This might be the best solution. Definitely the cheapest. Also some bad reviews. I'll order one and see how it goes.

I like pretty much the whole Anker line for adapters and cables and such.

Dozens of offerings for USB-c to USB-a adapters on Amazon.

I ordered a two-pack for about 10 bucks. Arriving tomorrow. Just hope it doesn't stick out too far. I like the mouse I have. Seems like the USB connection is better than Bluetooth.

My Bluetooth apple mouse works fine with my iMac. I just recharge it about once a month

This is what I use with MBP 16" with M1 Pro.

If the USBC adapter doesn't work out, I now have more product options. Thanks!

Adapters showed up today. 2-pack for 10 bucks. Reading Mac mouse reviews on Amazon helped out. My mouse is a Logitech. Sometimes there are keyboard issues during setup, so I cancelled any keyboard options. So far so good.

+1 for the Logitech, they're the only mice and keyboards I've used for well over 15 years. Apple makes really nice laptops, but their peripherals are complete garbage. Crap ergonomics in favor of style. That god-awful mouse is like a mostly used bar of soap.

                          lol

It's for those that need their available ports free

Otherwise yes, a Logitech mouse would be the cheaper and superior option

Do yourself a favor once you get the connection you want sorted out and get a trackball style device. It will save your wrist over time.

I've got an extra trac-ball around here someplace. I'll have to find it and give it a try.

I picked up a USB-C adapter. Works great with the Logitech M510 mouse.

                              Appreciate everyone's input.
