Windoze 10 problem

I have a problem where a task is hogging all my disk thruput. Windows Modules Installer Worker is ALWAYS the biggest hog. Can I just delete that POS? I'm not installing anything.

It's a part Windows (Windows Update) so you can't delete it.

You might have something not quite right with your system. Do a windows integrity scan then do a full OS and app update with winget.

Start menu, search, enter "cmd", right click the command prompt and choose run as administrator. Then enter the following two commands one at a time in order.

SFC /scannow

winget upgrade --all

This is why I use Kubuntu. It looks enough like Microsoft Windows to be familiar, without the problems from Microsoft Corp.
