    steam store credit into USD

so ive had about $800 on my account for over 7yrs and since i mainly play f2p games i havent had any need to buy steam games. i was reading you can convert cash into csgo skins then sell them on 3rd party sites for real money but it sounds sketchy and there are huge cuts taken from the sales.

i decided to use the credit to buy 2 steam deck consoles thinking i can flip them at a small discount. does anyone know if these would be easy to offload now that they arent backordering them at the moment?

Steam has community where people sell and buy in-game items.

I sold an item for $900 about 10 years ago and I still have $300 or so left. I gave up trying to convert it to liquid currency.

To OP, looks like you already purchased the Steam Decks so I have no idea how resellable they are. What I did was anytime I had a friend want to buy a game, I would have them give me Purchase Price minus 15% and I would gift it to them.
