    ublock origin?

Anyone install ublock origin? I ask because I am tired of the pop ups for google account sign-in. I don't have an account from evil google. I read somewhere ublock origin can prevent the google pop-ups.

Ublock origin is good to go. Although I'm not positive it helps with google account sign in pop ups, I'll assume it does since I've never seen one.

ublock origin is legit, I've been using it for 5 years +.

Lately though I've been having some issues on Firefox with ublock origin installed. Youtube seems to be cracking down on ad blockers, so with ublock origin on, some Youtube videos pause for like 10 seconds before starting video playback.

it could also simply be that instead of skipping the Youtube ad and starting the video right away (like it's supposed to), ublock origin is skipping the ad but unable to start the video right away so I end up having to wait for the video just as if the ad was playing... it could be that I'm seeing a blank screen now instead of the ad.

In any event I am now using Brave browser (with its own built-in ad blocker) to view Youtube. Brave is not as aggressive in blocking Youtube ads, so I do see some ads once in a while. But so far Brave is working fine with Youtube, whereas Firefix + ublock origin is giving me the problem I just mentioned.
