Apple Still Tracks You When You Turn Tracking Off

Security researches found that Apple still spies on you even when you set your phone to not track you. As a result, Apple is being sued.

An independent test suggests Apple collects data about you and your phone when its own settings promise to “disable the sharing of Device Analytics altogether.”

If Apple tracks my IPhone, they would die of boredom.
As does the NSA here in Bluffdale Utah. 15 minutes from me.

What? You think all those free apps were really free?
There is no week nor day nor hour, when tyranny may not enter upon this country, if the people lose their supreme confidence in themselves -- and lose their roughness and spirit of defiance -- Tyranny may always enter -- there is no charm, no bar against it -- the only bar against it is a large resolute breed of men.

I guess you could put the phone in one of those faraday bags. Or wrap it in aluminum foil whenever you don't want to be tracked.

The issue is app analytics, not location tracking.

Show me a phone that does not track you. Any app you install is going to do this regardless of the phone model.

I recently sat through a multi day class on 5G tech. All these phones track you all the time by design. Turn off whatever you want but when that phone is activate and talking to the antennas it tracks wherever you go and has your phone info and back end subscriber info for authentication and such.

Nobody ever said they weren't, just pointing out the fact that it was a CA based company .
