I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer (evident that it was my 10 year old niece that inspired this idea).
I had a 2 and 3 years old Amazon Fire HD tablets whose battery life was severely diminishing (not worth complaining as each cost less than $90). I was ready to erase the drive and toss them out. Niece mentioned she saw her friend's mother bought a digital picture frame that can hold 150 photos, which she displays in their living room. So...I found this app called fotoo (there are several apps that perform the same function for both Android and Apple tablets) that allows digital pics to be displayed on the tablet. The pics are located in my gmail cloud account (they could be in any cloud account). I have 1,100+ photos of various family members (going back to the 1950s when my parents were married) being displayed.
Anyway...I thought I'd share if someone has an old tablet that you're ready to throw away (see attached). The display stand was about $10 on Amazon.
