Test Your Browser for Tracking Protection

This site will test your browser for how well it blocks website tracking. Not all browsers are equal. Brave did a really good job including against fingerprinting. With the extensions I have installed my installs of Firefox, Waterfox and Opera blocked tracking ads and invisible trackers but did not give protection from fingerprinting. Edge was the worst as it did not provide any protection at all.

Tor Browser or Brave over Tor are really your best bets for tracking privacy.
There is no week nor day nor hour, when tyranny may not enter upon this country, if the people lose their supreme confidence in themselves -- and lose their roughness and spirit of defiance -- Tyranny may always enter -- there is no charm, no bar against it -- the only bar against it is a large resolute breed of men.

Our tests indicate that you have strong protection against Web tracking.

Using brave on all devices for a while now.

NoScript is another very good tool to help against this sort of thing. Available for both Firefox and Chromium (I stay away from Google's closed-source Chrome).

Also, Konqueror has a configurable browser ID string. You can have it report whichever browser you wish, i. e. you can tell Konqueror to appear as if it's Opera, Microsoft Internet Exploder, Firefox, Google Chrome, or whatever else. You also can tell it not to report a browser string at all.

To be a true Liberal, you must be 100% pro-Second Amendment. Anything less is inconsistent with liberalism.

The duck duck go browser gives me the best results. Better than Firefox and brave. I do have a vpn that I should probably be using. My results are on my iPhone. Did not test my MacBook yet.

The other thing that's helpful here is to use an operating system that is not nearly as subject to attacks as, say, any version of Microsoft Windows. I happen to use various GNU/Linux distributions, and that, too, has helped a lot with so-called "drive-by hacking" ads and sites.
