S10+ > Samsung Smart Switch

Missus S10+ is misbehaving so I may want to give her mine (also S10+)

Smart Switch is pretty simple to use, but in this case, should I reset my phone to factory, or can I just use smart switch to transfer from hers to mine without reset? Any downside to not resetting beforehand?

I'll be going back to my old S7, which still has my old data, so I'll just put the SIM and SD back in.

I believe you use SS to backup hers. Then you factory reset yours. Then restore her image to the clean S10.

Apple does this much better than Samsung.
