    Computer theft Delayer...

I hadn't mentioned it, but I haven't heard of many houses with an alarm system and a 19" rack, and rack-mount cases as a computer theft deterrent...

Just a little tougher to swipe quickly, when the alarm is going-off... ... ...

    Cable management, cable-smanagmentz.

Meh. If I was that concerned I'd just use a wall mount security rack vs a two post.

The SRWF6U36 SmartRack 6U Low-Profile Vertical-Mount Server-Depth Wall-Mount Rack Enclosure Cabinet is designed to house EIA-standard 19-inch rack equipment in network wiring closets, retail locations, classrooms, back offices and other areas with limited floor space where you need equipment to be secure, organized and out of the way. Constructed from heavy-duty steel with a durable black powder-coated finish, the cabinet has a maximum load capacity of 150 pounds.Because the low-profile cabinet mounts vertically, it extends less than 12 inches from the wall while housing equipment up to 36 inches deep, including 1U servers, UPS systems, battery packs and switches. In addition to 6U of rack space in the primary mounting area, it also includes a slide-out 2U mounting bracket at the top of the enclosure for patch panels up to 2.5 inches deep. The top panel and front door lock securely to help prevent damage, tampering or theft. The cabinet is vented, which allows air to flow freely and keep equipment cool. The reversible front door can open left or right. Convenient top and bottom ports allow easy cable routing. The SRWF6U36 comes fully assembled and ready to mount to the wall. Equipment installation is easy with threaded mounting holes and hardware that support M6 or 12-24 mounting.

In the 1980s, someone used superglue, baking soda and exacto knife blades to secure a radio in their car.

Reach under the dash, grabs the stereo, yank and impale your fingers.

your bmw now needs a lot of blood removal

I guess I’m this modern age one should wire a circuit / relay into their alarm.

When the alarm sound, the circuit is energized. The circuit has 6 fog machines plugged in to start filling the home with harmless fog.
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
          (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

A wireless magnetic reed door switch tied into the alarm, hidden in the rack would do the trick, if motion sensors didn't get them "triggered" first...

Harmless fog is known to trigger smoke detectors, in my experience vaping...
