Oh noes I see that a lot of people clicked my blurry image overnight! It is disabled now. I only posted it to try out this grabify logger mentioned in the OP video and to reiterate a point.

Be careful out there - if you get a funky link sent to you in PM from someone you don't know, it could be custom made for you. You can see how tempting it would be to click on a tiny or fuzzy pic or a blurry text capture in the hopes of seeing it clearer or larger. You could be one click away from being tracked or worse.

On the flip side, if you need to get the IP address that someone (maybe a WTB scammer) is using, while at the same time redirecting them somewhere - all it takes is this grabify tool and a ruse to get them to click. https://grabify.link/

There are also loggers that only require an embedded, invisible image to collect the data, meaning your scammer only has to read your PM to get logged. You can find one of those here https://iplogger.org/

Google is a PITA. They call my office number several times a day from all sorts of different numbers and area codes. They apparently think threatening my "Google listing" priority has any value to me. Clients don't come to me from the internet. I don't even have a website, or a fb or twatter, etc. ad nauseum.

Clients come to be via referrals from other clients.

That's how good I am.
