    "Cookbooks" and DefCAD Megapacks...

With all the lefty bans, and limitations they try to put on speech,
I wonder if kids today are still obtaining copies of OG "* Cookbooks" or * Cookbooks rev. 2002, or DefCAD Megapacks, as prior generations once did?

It appears the OG is still a best seller on Amazon...

The Boston's Gun Bible is another interesting resource that might be a few years old on firearms selection but relevant on training.

I remember the cookbook being basically useless. Especially in todays time. a lot of the stuff in there wouldn't even apply today, unless you can find a payphone you want to try and hack.
Army techincal manuals have much more useful knowledge, IMO.

I used to download tons of that crap back in my BBS days. ASCII schematics were awesome.

Back when we used red boxes, blue boxes, beige boxes, etc...

I'm active on a couple of reddit subs for 3d printing, one of them is a gun sub. There's a few places that still host a lot of the files, and the new ones are pretty impressive. I've legit seen more innovation in the firearms world the past year than in the last decade, easily.

Deterrnce Dispensed has moved over to thegatalog.com - find all the files and information over there!

One of the guys I work with is an ex JPL engineer and he's designing all kinds of 3D printable modular guns. I don't think he is going to share them though, at least not yet. Crazy stuff.
