Older HP Laserjet Low Fuser Temp Error

Getting an error 50.1, low fuser temp, on an older HP laserjet (4500N). I have a fuser kit, will that fix the problem?

I have that series at my office. I bought it years ago off C-L for $25.

It's lasted LONGER than I ever thought it would, although it's lightly used (I generally print through our copier). If it dies, I'll chuck it... and buy another.

The maddening thing about H-P printers is, H-P is the second worst company out there.

Sadly, they rank just ahead, of all OTHERS.

Yes. You might also have to reset the counter si it knows you have a new fuser installed.
