    unlocked Galaxy s10 5G

I kind of screwed up, but seller is going silent as well. I bought an unlocked att s10 5G on Ebay brand new unlocked. They sent me the code- works great on my Tmobiel network- no issue there. A friedn was over and said oyaa %G works great for them,. I thought what the hell I didnt think it was here yet. Checked map- it is.

So then I talk to Mobile tech support- they say the phone doesn't operate on the correct 5g for Tmobile. My Sim card si about 4+ years old- one person said that might help- go to tmobile- new card..no 5G and guy working there shows me his is working on 5g.

So Tmobile forums folks said I need to Flash it- put new firmware on it. Crap..I read so many conflicting things. download ODIN..what version../then warning I can brick the phone. What firmware to put on..one person said have Samsung send me the latest Tmobile firmware version for s10 5G.

Went to XDA and typed in tmobile samsung S10 5G and could not find firmware for it.

Is flashing a phone dangerous? Im above average on computer but that just makes you more dangerous for really screwing something up.

Last time I did this was on my S4, worked fine but did LOTS of homework and READING and understanding what the 5 minute procedure entailed.

My guess is since the phone is so new they "XDA" won't have firmware update yet available.

On a hopefully helpful note: Samsung used to have a rep at the local Best Buy stores, you could bring the phone to them and they flash it while you wait.

This was years ago so your mileage may vary! Good luck.

watch youtube videos. get an understanding of how the flashing process works and what NOT to do to brick your phone. Then look for the latest release firmware for your phone.

      Did you see this thread?

Looks like firmware G977T is for t-mobile.

I generally don't bother flashing, or dropping firmware anymore, as tethering is part of my plan, and I just get T-Mobile phones for my T-mobile plan, and they work well.

My Vibe died on my LG V20, and my lady has the same problem w/hers.
The V20 is PLENTY for what we do, and including apps AND Pandora downloaded music/albums, I am currently using only ~20GB of the 64GB. Pics and recorded videos save to the MicroSD card, and all my MP3 music is on the card, not that I use it with Pandora subscription (with Vet discount), but it's there.

While not the top of the line, the V20 cheap and zippy enough for us, and I plan on getting replacement "T-Mobile" V20's, which sell on eBay for only right at $133 NIB, sealed box, and unlocked. I like that I can replace the batteries just opening the back, and no need to take them to a shop to heat-gun them open for a battery-swap.

Flashing security is a very controversial issue. Do it yourself, not the name of the experience is better not worth it. Do you have an electronics repair and refurbishment center nearby? I mean, an adequate center where smart people work. If there is, then it is better to contact us, tell us about your problem. They will give you a suitable solution.

Either you are a bot or you do not speak very well, or maybe not native english speaker. Either way, it does not make you sound like "smart people".

To the OP, usually the swap from ATT to T-mobile entails a firmware flash to get the full array of services. The internals of the phones should be the same but ATT makes use of different frequencies than T-mobile, and vice versa. Therefore you likely need the other firmware to get the proper internals working. Flashing should be a simple process. You will need to google for a guide and follow it. You will likely need a patched Odin, that was a thing last year, not sure if it still the case. Find the Firmware for your model phone from T-mobile, a link is below but may not be for your exact model. Then go through the flash process per your guide.

took me weeks to get a code for AtT to unlock one dam phone, and I would not pay money online, sounds like a scam , check craigslist out, maybe you can hire someone to do it for you?

The deeper it goes, the less I am caring about 5G. I dont watch/download movies on my phone so I am thinking whats the point now.

I appreciate the input from you tech nerds : )
