Few checkpoints,
1. Disable/Uninstall Anti-Virus
2. Page file got corrupted. Try no paging file option under Advanced System Settings > Performance > Virtual Memory.
3. Check Event Viewer look for any error.
Hope these helps.Last edited by frahuang; 07-14-2020, 9:20 AM.Comment

This sounds like a problem I had before kes, I’m gonna bet you money for money it’s your power supply
How are you could verify this is buy a new power supply module at like Best Buy or some thing take yours out and install it if the problem still continues it’s not your power supply but I’m gonna tell you that more than likely it is.
Remember your power supply is DC by the way not AC so it doesn’t like being disturbed even with a good surge protector it will still burn out as this has happened to me a couple times
I would almost bet you 20 bucks its your power supplyComment

Have you checked the power supply to see if all capacitors are ok? They can go out during a surge or power outage. Sometimes you can barely see them bulge out on either the top or bottom. Nothing a trip to the electronic store and solder iron can't fix.Comment

Okay this one has me a bit stumped.
About a week ago we had a power outage and my comp was on, not the best way to 'shut off' your computer.
Ever since then at random intervals my computer freezes up, no mouse, no keyboard, no Ctrl+Alt+Del, no video movement. I have to hard reboot it and then it start up again, runs a bit and freezes up again.
I'm running Windows 7 64 on a ASRock MB w/ 16 Gb or RAM and AMD Radeon RX 560 video card
I ran SeaTools on the Seagate HDD, it pass every test twice.
I ran memtest on the memory, again passed every test twice.
I left a motherboard monitor running so I could see the voltage and temp data when it froze, everything was well within specs.
I installed a new power supply unit in case the old one got damaged by the power outage.
I reinstalled motherboard drivers, network drivers, audio drivers and video drivers.
No joy. I have no idea what got messed up.
Here's the rub.
I've been running it all day today doing everything I normally do with the exception of listening to audio in Safe Mode and no freezing at all.
Obviously something is not loading in Safe Mode that is causing freezing in normal mode but I have no idea what it could be.
On the plus side I can stop buying hardware since this is pretty solid evidence of it being a software problem.
Anyone run across anything like this or have any ideas on what to look at next?
I had this problem on two separate occasions and in both cases it was a power supply issue.Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!
The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)Comment
