There is no way the elderly can jump through these hoops without help.

I had to download an Epic MyChart app. On a mobile device. No, its not available for Windows.

Then I had to give that app the login and password to my account on my health provider's network. Then sign my life away on some questionnaire.

That will probably be the most invasive part of the appointment.

wow.. just wow.. i told my doctor whatever visit or follow-up can wait until after sip and i can come in. no way they'll lower the claim to my insurance just because it's virtual.

What do you mean by “the elderly can’t jump through these hoops”? I can guarantee most “elderly” are a hell of a lot more tech savvy than you think they are.

Most iPhone users at work don't even know how to pair non-Apple Bluetooth...
Those on Android at least Google solutions, instead of asking IT 1st.

It's better with the younger generations, but most Gen-Z(ombie) that were coddled with Macs have to be taught how Windows works, in a corporation, and that isn't most of IT's job, unless they exclusively get paid to train people.

However it is HORRIBLE when you have to switch TV inputs for the head of a department, and show them how TV inputs work IF a TV in IN their department for training... no matter their age...
