    PPT standalone program?

NOT interested in Microflaccid's "rental" copy. I wanna buy once/cry once - which version for Windows 7/10 do I want?

I was about to suggest Office XP and using the custom installation option to install only PowerPoint + the Office 2007 compatibility pack - but I believe you are already familiar with Office XP.

Would you kindly provide more information on your use case?

With that said, it looks like Microsoft made a standalone PowerPoint for 2007, 2010, and 2013.

I would suggest the 2010 and 2013 editions as they are readily available on eBay and are close in layout to Office 2016 and Office 2019. They also should have no issues installing on a Windows 7/10 machine.

Cons would be that the software is a perpetual license for a single machine and (if you're willing to risk it) costs more than the keys for Office 2016/2019 suite.

I went through that the other day, and did NOT see PPT as an available program!

I'll go through it again tomorrow, as I did not think that came on Office XP! Thanks!
