Changing the file extension is not the way to go. What GoPro do you have? What FPS and resolution are these videos recorded at? It could be simply a matter of not enough CPU and video power in the laptop if these are hi-res + hi frame rate videos.
My Win 7 laptop is a Quad Core i7 with ATI graphics, 16GB, with dual SSD. That is the minimum setup for handling modern GoPro vids IMO.
From specs I see online, CF-31 is dual core i5 with Intel integrated graphics and by default, a spinning disk. That might be good for 1080p @ 30FPS but maybe not much more.Last edited by SkyHawk; 04-13-2020, 11:44 PM.Comment

Computer is underpowered... CPU, graphics card, available RAM, disk speed all play a role.
Upload your video to YouTube and watch it from there and it will likely play back seamlessly.MAGA - drain the swamp^D^D^D^D^Dcesspool!
