Flat Screen Cord Hider Suggestions

Finally getting around to hiding the cords from my flat screen. Looking for suggestions for cord hiders, the type that place the cords inside the wall. Wanting to hide the cord behind the TV, run it down through the wall down to just above floor level near an outlet and the DVR, etc.

Just go redneck. Punch a hole in the wall behind the TV and another below it just above the floor. A little fishing and you are set. Oh, just make sure it is not an outside wall or a wall shared with the garage.

And I hate to be Captain obvious but do be sure to check for fire blocks/stops before dropping your cable. It's not always a straight shot or open stud bay.

Before you drop that "fish" wire/string down the inside of the wall; tie/tape a magnet on to the end. Makes getting a hold of it at the bottom, easier.

if you wish to fish a wire through blocking or studs without compounding the repair effort, and you have sufficient space to use this tool, consider a flex bit.
