    Question on this site

I'm having a reoccurring issue when using my android tablet on this site. After a while, like when I switch to a another tab and look at other websites, I somehow get automatically logged out of calguns.

It's almost as if my session times out. To clarify, I am NOT going to another device and logging into calguns. I literally switch over to another tab which is a completely different website and may browse around for 5 or 10 min and when I go back to my calguns tab, I'm logged out.

I can log back in with no problem, but checking the "remember me" box when logging in does not appear to help as I always have to re-enter name/pw.

I've never had the problem on my PC.

I used to have this issue and just accepted it. However, it went away for the longest time but is now recently back.

    Any thoughts/suggestions?

Are the settings on your device set to not remember credentials?

Use Firefox, NEVER use the default browser/Chrome and never sign into Gmail from a non-private Tab, your searches and ads won't be tied to an e-mail address, just a browser.
And DON'T sign in to Firefox to sync browser settings/bookmarks among devices...

Make sure you are not using incognito mode in your browser. Delete your Calguns browsing data/cookies.

Stop using this site and it should fix itself. [emoji6]

I leave mine logged in all the time so I don't have to log in whenever I come here

Thank you all for ideas and suggestions... some answers:

@ Gutz: I can't find anything or any settings on device or in chrome regarding saving credentials. If you can advise on where to look, let me know, please. Device is samsung Tab S4 and running Chrome in desktop mode.

@Skyhawk: thanks for suggestion. Clearing data, cache and cookies was first thing I tried. Unfortunately, no luck. I rarely use incognito mode.

@nine mill thrill; why would it be a bad idea to stay logged in when I'm switching tabs. I'm scatter brained with a healthy dose of attention deficit. And sometimes when I'm looking for a good deal min the cal guns market place, I feel urge to buy a pair of sneakers on Amazon, but want to get back to the thread on CA Handguns without having to log back in. Tablet is mine, stays at home, and is PW protected. But, if I'm missing something, let me know.

SanDiego619; that is precisely what I normally do and trying to get back to doing.

                  Are you using CALGUNS.NET or WWW.CALGUNS.NET ??

I know it seems like a weird question, but they are technically different sites for login purposes, each storing their own cookie. However there are many links here that are not relative, so you can find yourself bouncing from one to another without it being obvious.

                  I always use WWW.calguns.net

Also, I do not use HTTPS, I use HTTP

try this, see which one asks you to login:
