AA and AAA battery travel cases for say 4 of each?

I have had a few cases and they are all cheap and pop-open in the luggage, nor shred the plastic encasing of the battery in say Tenergy, or eneloop.

Seeking suggestions on cases for AA and AAA batts for travel, and the range bag for electronic-muffs.

    These really suck:

Cost a bit more but works well. I got a freebie from them at SHOT and it's pretty useful for smaller items:

How many batteries are you needing to travel with?
Rubber band them together and put them in a ziplock bag.

Just keep your existing case and wrap some electrical tape over them, it'll keep them closed but not too difficult to remove when you need the batteries.

This is what I use in the flight bag, travel bag, glovebox, etc. I have used them for many, many years. Not waterproof though, just handy.

The amazon basics alkaline batteries also come packaged in shrink wrap as 4s inside even though you buy bulk boxes. They perform great.

              Go crude

              Electrical tape

Wrap the batteries with a loop of tape

Cover the ends to keep any accidental discharge from happening on higher voltage batteries.

              No need for a case.

Electrical tape is also a great bandaid

Get a cut from a sight or sharp edge. Use the electrical tape to close it

Since these are pressure-fit (clip at the tip) these don't break/rip the plastic battery wrap with just a few insertions/removals?

I don’t use them for rechargeables, so not sure. I keep batteries I can depend on working without any maintenance for years in them - hence the note about the places I keep them. And most of my applications need 1.5v/cell nominal and 1.2v just is not going to cut it.

The edges of this are soft and generally rounded - for $2.50 with free ship you should at least try one to see for yourself what you think. Look at the reviews for all of them, thousands of reviews and these are 5 star products that have been around a long time. No moving parts, no lid to break off or lose, hi-vis options so you can find them when you need them in the bottom of a bag etc.

I can say that I have seen the actual devices that rechargeable batteries go into do more damage to their wraps than any holder. Usually it is repeated insertion/removal from the device that does in flimsy battery wraps, if that device has anything other than a fully exposed battery tray.

And if you are a recharge battery die-hard, you owe it to yourself to get a large supply of new shrink wrap sleeves for them.

I opted for this one what looks more well made, and shouldn't strip the casing:

Oh, and with all my Christmas shipping "rewards" I got this FREE, along with some other stuff...

We'll see how the quality stacks up to other things I have tried/looked at.

W/everything in my cart, it started at like $96, and I paid <$1 for everything.
I am really working them over on rewards, w/paying the Amazon card off every month, AND I got my Lee shot-shell reloading press on the same cash-back deal, "free", not to mention making them donate via "Smile" to the NRA.

One inch blue painters tape. No sticky residue.
                        Or rubber bands.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
