New ATT Cell tower with a Padlock

Any AT@T techs or employees here have access to cell tower information???

They recently installed a cell tower by my house however it has a padlock on it. I dont know if the lock was from AT@T or just a neighbor locked it.

I cant wait for this to become active!

Also if you know what bands it will transmit would be great.

        That's a walmart lock.

One harsh gesture will open it.

Has anyone provided you with information on the levels of radiation your home will be showered with once it is "lit up"?

It's up 15ft on the pole so it's a little out of reach.

Our house is fine we are 1 block away

The neighbor is a project manager for ATT and getting 5G up and running. But his responsibility does not include California. He has told me that ATT is pushing hard with lots of new cell locations for the 5 G

Fith Generation 5G promises download speed of up to 10x over current transmission for cell technologies. Higher frequency signals and other transmission techniques will be behind the new 5G equipment being rolled out.

AT&T is competing with Verizon for better area coverage by adding towers. Especially in high traffic areas to increase sales.

Looks as if it is locked in the off (no commercial power applied) until At&t or the power company inspects and passes the site.

These sites are actually built by vendors and not turned up until they pass inspection, then they are tested so the antenna can be finally adjusted to cover the proposed area.

Please post your speedtest screen-scrape right now, then after it goes live, I am curious...

Everyone I know on ATT cell service has always had data-issues, when T-Mo was at least 3x better speeds in the same locations.

They may have it locked off because they don't have enough backup power on-site yet to keep the tower up once PG&E cuts power off yet again... https://abc7news.com/5827426/
