    Clearing cookies

My desk top[acer/win 10] is starting to "stagger" or buffer. I've heard clearing cookies may help. Not too tech savvy here, is there a simple way to do this?
Pros, cons? Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Cookies isn't going to fix that... Theres 100's of reasons why your machine would start slowing down. Also depends on when its slowing down... what are you doing that you notice it slowing?

Just clicking on here and 24hourcampfire. It seems to be behaving fine at the moment. Maybe just one of those things? Thanks tho for your response.

I tried three-four different sites, only 24hourcampfire seems to be a problem. I'll let that be for a while and see what happens.

Do you run an ad blocker?

Some sites use terrible ad providers that will lag out your browser with certain campaigns. Consider using an ad blocker, or if you already have one turn it off for that specific site.

Ctrl + H. Clear browsing history should also bring up the option to clear cookies.

Just make sure you know your user name and passwords for your sites you visit as you will be required to enter them again the first time you visit them after removing the cookies.

Download the free browser app "Privacy Badger" which will help block a lot of crap like unwanted cookies and popups etc. It will block sites from tracking your browsing activity and reporting it back to other sites. On this site, calguns, privacy browser is blocking ssl.google-analytics.com. On another page it is blocking 5 sites, Amazon, Facebook X2, Youtube, google analytics. I dont even use facebook, and youtube is even trying to track me.
