Need PS4 Slim headset

EDIT - I ended up finding the Turtle Beach EF P24 and bought them. Until I upgrade to a PS4 pro (or PS5) that has optical audio port, these will do a good job.

I use, and love, my a40's for both console and PC. If you use the mixamp that comes with them, it will do 5.1 and 7.1 through some weird scaling thing that I dont begin to understand. They're great though.

get a set of hyper X cloud two's. they are the best headset I have ever used and I have actually used them twice on Fighter pilots web show. they are great all around and you can use them for 7.1 audio or whatever floats your boat. At about 100 buck's they wont break the bank and they last forever if you dont abuse them. I use them on my PC, ps4 and xbox 1 and so far I have been super happy with them. Did I mention how comfortable they are? it's like I am wearing clouds when I use them.

I have an older Logitech USB gaming headset that works perfect with the PS4. Good sound quality and all the buttons on it do what they're supposed to. Didn't have to do anything to the PS4 to make them work. Just plug and play.
