Try using your arrow keys on the remote. I use them with my Roku to like and subscribe.

Using the Sony control while the video is running hit the play button. This will bring up the play time bar under the video.

Press the left arrow on the center control twice or more until the three dots under the play bar on the left light up. Press the center button for more.

The selections will appear under the bar. Press the right arrow until the desired icon is selected and then press enter.

If you are not fast enough it will quickly disappear so be ready to click when more options are shown.

YouTube has the worst UI of any platform player. Every version of it behaves differently, and breaks conventions on established platforms like AppleTV and Roku.

I hate ever having to go to YT to find something on the TV, so I paired my phone to the ATV's YT app so I can just send the URL to the TV's YT app or just use Airplay to avoid the crap UI of the app on the ATV.

See if you can pair your phone with the app on the TV. It makes navigation a little better.
