I wonder why they look big to me. Here's another try. Top pic of gun in holster an older photobucket pic. Next one a new downloaded one. Looks like new pics on Photobucket aren't automatically sized down but old ones still are from what I'm seeing..

Phone apps tend to resize. I'm using Opera on my pc and the pics are huge, except the older PB pic is OK, the new one is supersized.

Thanks. I'm trying a couple different ideas. So far no luck.

I always resized my pics before uploading to PB. With the "new" pricing scheme, I no longer use it.

Was your older PB pic taken with an older camera? Perhaps the pixel size is much smaller.

They look too big on PC and also on tablet with Safari.

Resize before upload (I like width to be around 1200px), or upload to Tinypic and select '1024 x 768'.

Last time I used a popular photo hosting site called
" tinypic " to host photos to post on this forum, there was a little drop down box with multiple options of sizing including one that said "Forum size" or something like that.

That makes it pretty easy as long as you can read.

After downloading a pic off the camera I resize it using the MS tool/app before placing it anywhere. Works great and it's free....

Easy Resize Images Resize Image by starting the app. Select the image you want to resize. Or Right click on image file, select open with Image Resizer. Support for Bmp Gif Jpeg Pbm Png Tiff Tga WebP

^^^^^ no, it is ginormous at 3264 x 2448 pixels

the max ideal size for this forum that will render correctly across a large range of devices is about 1240px wide.

A very safe resolution is 1024px wide.
