So, my lame Dish Network package doesn't get NBCSports for this 2nd round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I believe I might be able access the live stream via NBCSports.com. My Dell laptop has a HDMI port - would I be able to connect a HDMI cable to my 42" LG flatscreen & watch the stream on the larger screen?

Yes. Sound and video stream just fine using HDMI. Check your sound control panel on the laptop to make sure it's sending audio through the HDMI cable to the TV.Comment
