We had a contractor cut our Fiber line in one of our buildings. Comcast is not in a hurry to come out. I have never repaired Fiber. Anyone have tips or a local company (Hayward, Ca.) req?

Comcast Fiber Cut...

Do you know the company that originally pulled the lines, was it Comcast or a sub? That's who I'd call first. 50/50 that it can be polished and spliced. If not, it will require a new pull. If Comcast is the one to maintain it, then you either wait or sue them for breach of contract. -
That sucks...This happened to one of our sites when a construction crew accidentally cut the fiber lines on an entire street block. Dunno how the heck they missed it but the ISP came out to fix it.
They will take their time but if you have a contract with them to be up and running within a specified time frame, they don't have a choice but to meet their contract. If not, typically they have to pay a fine directly to their customer whom they have an agreement.
Make sure to have the contractor take responsibility and pay possible fine, fees, etc. incurred from this.Comment
