    Cryptocurrency

i have invested in cryptocurrency for two reasons:

    1) I predict that it will become a lot more valuable in the long run and
    2) it can be used to wire money over the internet and banks/government have no say in it. It is like a real virtual cash.

Well, I suppose the time to invest is now since it's in the ****ter.

Yes that is one of the best use cases for crypto coins. However, the volatility needs to be addressed before that becomes realistic. As quickly as the value of a coin can change, by the time the transaction is verified, the sum can be worth substantially more or less. I've transferred funds using several different coins and the verification time can range from a few minutes to hours. If somebody pays $200 via crypto to buy something from you, and it's only worth $175 by the time it's verified and available to you, that won't work.

This is true but they have even come out with USD coin which is a fiat coin that always equals a dollar so at this point i think we need to start weening ourselves off of excessive taxation and unconstitutional gun laws

Californians wouldnt mind paying a premium to have their rights restored anyway. Here in yolo county it costs like $800 to APPLY for a ccw permit that will be denied 98% of the time... sure it might hurt the seller but it also might help the seller that coins fluctuate. Besides, the more people that adopt this blockchain technology, the more likely the seller of “illegal” items like off roster handguns or 80% parts or ammunition will see the cryptocurrency value go up

Never assume it can't get worse.

To be fair some foreign currencies have similar issues and they remain viable. The small short term swings in value are not IMO a fatal issue taken alone. Local currencies avoid issues like this because local goods are priced in the local currency. Goods are seldom if ever (so far) directly priced in BTC or ETH.

                        Unless the government bans it.

I think that'll drive the price higher, like drugs, illegal fireams, prosituion, prohibition on alk-ihol (real moonshine), or keep it hidden from them: illegal employment, home poker players, etc...

I'm investing in these. I think they will make a big comeback like cryptocurrency will.

cryptocurrency is an awesome scam and I wonder who started it. 1) make something up that is cheap or free to produce but is difficult for an ordinary person to understand. 2) create media frenzy to try to talk about how awesome it is. 3) watch idiots buy it for ever increasing prices. 4) sell your share. It's even better because its anonymous. There's no CEO to lie about how he sold his shares for personal reasons and not because he knows the company is going to tank. What a scam. I wonder what government agency and what country was the souce of the scam before all the copycat scammers.
