Sector sizes: "fsutil fsinfo ntfsinfo C:"

    SanDisk SDSSDHII240G:
    Code:
NTFS Volume Serial Number : 0x...
    Version : 3.1
    Number Sectors : 0x000000001bef00f3
    Total Clusters : 0x00000000037de01e
    Free Clusters : 0x0000000001add58a
    Total Reserved : 0x0000000000000840
    Bytes Per Sector : 512
Bytes Per Physical Sector : [B][COLOR="Red"]512[/COLOR][/B]
    Bytes Per Cluster : 4096
Bytes Per FileRecord Segment : 1024
    ...
Apparently every drive I have ever owned seems to still have 512 byte sectors (not emulated), not 4k yet.
I am not getting these results:

    Nor these:

    Samsung 850 EVO:
    Code:
    ...
    Bytes Per Sector : 512
Bytes Per Physical Sector : 512
    ...
Had my son check his right now on his 1TB EVO and same results.

As a test, for the last year, my 850 EVO data drive has been formatted with 1k blocks (clusters), and works like a champ.
I'm going to have to run some more tests again with smaller clusters, now that I have more SSDs to play with...

I know you might be thinking, hey let go of the dead horse, but...
What are your results on your SSDs, and has anyone else here done actual tests?

SSD's physical discrete unit is 32K or 64K "sectors." How they present to the host OS is irrelevant. Sector size only has semantic meaning for spinning rust.
