What is "Currently" a good free youtube video downloader?

YTD version of youtube downloader used to be my go-to program. The free version was pretty great. But is now garbage.

What is currently a good, hassle free no BS program to download youtube videos to your desktop?

I have tried a few I have found on a quick google search but turn out to be garbage or fake.

I use JDownloader.
It is free and easy to use.
With it running in the background, when you view a YouTube video just do a right click and select Copy Image Location.
That gets loaded into JDownloader and you then have to go to the running JDownloader program and select to do the actual download.
Pretty good program.
I've used it for several years now.
