Duck is good, private and no tracking. Just need to get the word out and people on it.

I use DuckDuckGo a lot. But. Google (blah) gets me more and more relevant returns.

To me Google is like a portal into the modern day equivalent of the Library of Alexandria.

I've switched to duckduckgo and don't miss google at all. Only thing google does better is maps.

Switched long ago due to their ignorant habit on honoring our vets. Bing does a great job and has good search results as well.

Never login to the browser for you Gmail account unless in a private Firefox window/tab. Chrome remembers stuff with even private browsing, doesn't seem to with Firefox.

Use Firefox Google ssl search and remove others. It has worked well for me so far, after Chome started syncing bookmarks, I stopped using it...

I am sure that could classify me, by the search terms I use, but not to an account directly this way, like they do with chome, or iPhruity devices I am told email links only open with only Safari... ... ... By default?
Does Safari pass through creds if you go to an apple site?

On Android devices if the Firefox application is removed, it seems to remember nothing from it's prior instance if reinstalled too, and does not seem to pass-through Android's Gmail account creds for tracking.
