      I'm 100% in support of the project and dissemination of information, just temper your expectations. I don't know if you have any experience with 3d printing, but for anyone who doesn't: I've been printing for a couple of years. A 3d printed AR lower will take around 100+ hours and *may* fail at any time in that process. You'd be much farther ahead buying an 80% polymer lower and finish it in under 20 minutes. You could do the same with metal, but if you're ok with a plastic lower then polymer should suit just fine.

        That's not the point. The point is they're trying to suppress the freedom of speech. By simply having the files, you're giving the finger to the *******s who don't want you to have them.

              If you mean the Stratasys one that they printed a 1911 with, it's closer to $300k. $100k is what they'd have to sell the gun for to make it economical, they only did it as a proof-of-concept to demonstrate the tech.
