I wasn't using it to browse porn, I had to connect to a VPN and do work - it's not great for anything but it's *OK* for web browsing. Not so great for syncing code back and forth or video conferencing.

Also, I got FAP'd every time Microsoft released a new ISO image.

Seriously tho, swapping big fat files will be dropped down from giddy up to trot and finally a slow walk. The residential flavor has less data than a business package, but you can buy more data easy enough. For those heavy flow days. Sure beats stone age pots lines and a 56k modems. [emoji107]

You may be able to set up a short range point to point wireless solution, look at the surrounding area and see if a neighbor, business complex, etc. has fiber or other form of quality internet that they'd be willing to split with you.

May require a mast and antenna on one or both ends. Ultimately, a better solution that satellite.

With the right equipment and surveying, these point to point wireless solutions can go miles.

I used to work for an ISP that used these wireless backhauls to deliver internet to business parks that were within eyeshot of our datacenters. Worked great.
