I am a PC guy, but I use Bit Defender Anti-Virus Plus. It is not free, but it gets the job done and is pretty light on resource use.

    Bit Defender for Mac.

I use Sophos. Free, good enough.

You don't need an anti-virus software. You (collective) need common sense.

No reason whatsoever for anti-virus on Mac or windows. Certainly windows 10 or current Mac OS. Windows 10 has an anti virus built in. Don't load the garbage. You'll be happy.

I use Malwarebytes. It has saved me from having to reinstall the OS on multiple occasions. It works well on both PC and Mac.
