Need to have some help...I've left feedback for many transactions over the years and never had any problems...recently I wanted to leave feedback for a buyer and did the normal "drill" to leave it...it stopped me when I tried to send it with a message that "this is an unsecured line and if transmitted someone may intercept it"...I tried again and again with the same result...so I figured I'd see if I tried to send it anyway what would happen...it would not accept it and said the URL was not valid....it was an exact cut and paste from the URL identification line at the top of the page....I have another ad running so thought I'd sort of "fudge" and try and leave feedback using the other URL cut and paste..but I got the same result.
The URL line for just plain old Calguns (not for the item) has no "green padlock" and it shows a lock with a note over it..the note says that part of the message is not secure such as images....The cut and paste item for the feedback has no pictures on it so not sure what the "images" makes reference to......however the http shows https...something is considering calguns forum as not secure. Something else I notice recently is that in the off topic thread sometimes folks will cut and paste a link to some article that they are discussing and I don't get the link...I do get the posts that follow but no link itself.
I'm using Mozilla Firefox which I've used for several years...it did go through a phase where it would indicate calguns as well as some other sites did not have the https and you had to "bypass" to connect..that is no longer the case here or on any of the other sites that were "not secure"...I use duckduckgo as my search engine..it's a windows 7 computer that works like a champ most of the time.
I had added an ad blocking choice recently and thought that might be doing somethihg so I removed it...still nada....any thoughts?
