How do I get pics to show from a flash drive to my iPad?

I think they make an adapter.

Or you can load onto a computer and use iCloud to share them with any devices logged into the same iCloud account.

Best solution is to never buy an Apple product again, as my new G Pad X has a USB port for USB DEVICES SUCH AS A Flash drive right here on the side of it. Aternatively I think the whack-a-doodle cable, in the industry-standard world is called an OTG (on the go) cable...

Yup, just verified it is called an OTG cable for iPhruity devices too, one more thing they copied, well, at least the eBay slang term for the dongle has been duped.

Sandisk and others make thumb drives with the lightning connection. They work very well. The Sandisk drive I have triggers an app that allows file transfer and will back up the files on the device. No OTG cable needed with these.

You can use iCloud with a pc if you don't have a Mac. It works just fine.

Do you ever NOT thread crap when Apple is mentioned?

Did Apple fire you or what?

He lives for apple threads. I think he was inappropriately touched by an iPod.

OP, do you have a Mac? If so, you might be able to use AirDrop if you plug the flash drive into the Mac.

I'm just not a fan of status symbols that you get less than you pay for, if there is better, current tech., @ about 1/2 the price, NIB.

That we understand but your constant jumping into anything apple to rant about how much you don't like them is tiresome. I understand where you are coming from. I really dislike apple but I like iPads and iPods. I also like PC's and android tablets. I don't buy anything as a status symbol. I find people that do things like that are the kind of people I have no interest in.

You and I have had many productive and helpful discussions on the forum but every time I see any thread that mentions apple I slap my forehead and start the countdown to your anti apple rant.

Please correct me if I post falsified information regarding any Apple products.

$50 for the 64GB lighting/USB stick vs. $12 for the same brand and size USB stick w/out lightning portion is why I have to comment...
