    Sources for fairly priced GPU's?

I know if you luck into the deals while they are in-stock you can get decent prices, but does anyone have a reliable source for a decently powered cards?

    Examples I missed recently:

    GTX 1060 6 gig card - $315

    GTX 1070 8 gig - $360

    Anyone see lower prices?

Those are some good deals. I suppose wait until the next deal comes from wherever you got those prices from?

I've been out of gaming for quite some time. I'm sure if I got back into it, even running these newer games at 1/4 detail would be amazing to me, so I would probably only need a $100 card.

What games are you playing? Or is this for 3d modeling or something?

Mostly for gaming and multi-monitor systems. Probably no one has a secret source and everyone is having a tough time finding GPU's. Amazon, New Egg, even CDW is where I see deals pop up. CDW and Amazon can have better "Business" deals if you have one of those accounts. I even seen some decent prices at Tiger Direct. Everything sells out fast.

If you do have a source, PM me, hahah.

I usually find good deals on Newegg, but you have to check the sale emails daily in the morning to beat the rush. Yeah the good deals sell out fast, but I've never missed a good deal by checking in the morning. Also, B&H photo sells quite a bit of computer parts and they're in NY so no sales tax, which can save you a decent amount on more expensive items, like video cards. I've bought several things from them.

They will be few and far between until crypo tanks.

Update... New Egg and Amazon seem to be the places to grab stuff. I've had a few orders where I can get four or more on Amazon. New Egg is pretty much one per order but you can do it again after 48 hours if the item is still on sale - sometimes it is. B&H is ok... seems great for PSU's, no GPU's from them yet. EBAY seems a last resort or where you can go to gamble on used stuff that came out of a overclocked mining rig.

I don't think crypto is going anywhere. I think these GPU prices are going to be the new norm for a while.

Got a couple on Amazon this morning for $340 shipped (each) - no tax for whatever reason... GTX 1060 6 GB. That's a good price these days.

I hope Nvidia makes enough chips when the Volta/Ampere is released this year.
