Programs to Download Web Video

I was looking at buying a copy of Internet Download Manager for downloading videos.

I figured that before I spend the $25, I would ask here what programs do you use for Video Downloading?

I tried it for a month and it seems to integrate easily with all of my browsers...

Firefox has free plugin.

I use a firefox plugin that works fine. I did download Allavsoft 3.15 Video Downloader a few days ago when giveaway of the day had it up for free. It works for every site I have tried to use it on.

Download Helper Plugin on Firefox

THIS. Firefox download helper plugin. Free and works great. May need to convert some of the videos depending on format. Can use VLC player or MPEG Streamclip for that. (OR QuickTime Pro or Compressor if you bought those already)

Another vote for this plugin. It's rare to find a stream that I can't download and play with VLC.
