Where to get windows 7 iso

I went to the Microsoft website and put my key in and they tried to give the Korean version. Did some research and tried some of the download clients but none of them work either. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The ISO must match the licensing channel that the key came from. Not just any Win 7 IS0 will work. So what channel did your key come from - OEM, Retail, Volume?

A student version may be difficult, but keep asking around, someone especially an old classmate might have a disk laying around.

If you feel daring, you could grab a Torrent.

well i still have the upgrade disc with keys and Vista. I was just trying to avoid doing it that way because Vista sucks.

You can do a full install from the upgrade disc. You just boot off the disc and start the install, and it should ask you to insert a full version disc to verify you "own" a full version which qualifies you for an upgrade, then you put the upgrade disc back in and finish the install. At least that's how it used to work, unless they changed it.

I used to have a link to different versions I had to use to build an off brand computer a while back. I know Dell makes the system restore to factory software available as an ISO, but can't speak about other brands. Let me see if I can find that link anywhere.

Just buy one on Ebay. Make sure you get an unused one with the key. Not hard to do.

You can export to XML from the website now.

try a torrent site. It's legal since you have the key.
