I cannot imagine not having two drives. I think the only time I had a single drive was with an Apple IIc. Even my Apple IIe had a duo drive.

That's an area I overlooked with a laptop, thanks for mentioning that.

A lot of laptops are wireless only as why get a lap top if you are going to dock it with an external monitor, rj45 /cat6 connection

Because a lot of people, including myself, need it not only as mobile, but as a replacement for a desktop.

Not everyone has a wireless connection
