Iphone 6s question

So I have an unlocked iPhone 6s that I bought new from Apple, it uses Verizon.

I am in a Verizon hole that they seem to not care to fix, one block, West or East, I get 4G LTE but I am lucky to get 1 to 2 bars 3G at home.

Workman the other day was getting 4 bars ATT 4G LTE at my house.

Can I buy a ATT sim card, where, to test this out, before I go to the hassle of porting several phones to ATT?

Yes if it is unlocked it should work. Try a friends nano sim card
