Under Win 7, when put to sleep, my two external (Western Digital) hard drives would keep spinning. Now that I've upgraded to Win 10, I noticed that when put to sleep, my new two external hard drives (a Fantom 2TB 7200 HD and a Buffalo 2TB 7200RPM HD) will also sleep. I haven't tinkered with these drives (just plug and play other then whatever Win 10 does when a new peripheral connets). I don't have the WD drives (which were 6+ years old) to connect to see if they sleep.
Just wondering if this is a Win 10 feature. I can't find mention of this on the internet. Also, all four drives using USB 2.0 (don't have 3.0 ports...yet).
