    Nintendo Switch

Anyone here have any opinion, experience with said device? Worth it or is it another Nintendo bomb? It's that time of year again, well looking for something my better half would enjoy. She was a die hard fan of the Zelda series.

Got a switch a while back. First true Nintendo product since Snes back in the day. It has Zelda, Mario Odessy, Mario Kart and street fighter. Not the greatest in "Visuals' but the games are beautiful, run excellent and have that polish you expect from Nintendo.

That said, if the system was $250 With Zelda or Mario it would totally be worth it. But personally I feel it is priced a bit high @$300 gameless.

I bought a Switch when they first came out. This is a legit console. I have a docking station in the bedroom and living room so I can bounce around the house as needed.

I bought it solely because of Skyrim so I can play it on the go. (PS4 is my online system). But Nintendo is really making an effort this time, bunch of great games out already and more in the line-up to come. If I could only keep one system at this point, I believe it would be the Switch.

Oh, the Zelda game is insane, I played that until Skyrim was released.

I did get the wireless remote though fir home playing, best investment. Great controller and I don't have to hassle with putting the take off grips back on the console when I am rushing out the door. Just shop around on line for a good memory card so you can buy your games off the online store and never have to hassle with switching out games.

Just got my little brother the switch literally a couple of days ago.

It is a blast! Holy crap. The new Mario game is amazing and of course Zelda is awesome. I played Zelda on the Wii U but I am sure on the Switch it is even better. Can't wait for the new Super Smash Bros.

100% worth it! Nintendo nailed it with this system.

I enjoy mine quite a bit. I like the Nintendo service that I subscribe to for like $20 a year. It has all the old school Nintendo games and you can play them online free up charge. The graphics are insane. I just wish there was a better place to rent games. Besides that I love it

It depends on what you're looking for. Its fun, I like it. I wasn't as big of a fan of the new Zelda game. It was ok for what it was but it didn't scream Zelda to me for some reason. My wife plays that Animal Crossing game when she has time. The Xenoblade games I like. Splatoon is fun but be aware its been infiltrated by BLM people... you can make your own tags and they put BLM everywhere. I report all of them as hateful.

Its a good system, I'd recommend it. I personally play the PS4 more but the games are more my style on it. The Switch is more kiddish. Still fun though. My kid and I make prank maps for each other with Mario Maker 2. That is a lot of fun. He thinks its hilarious to trap you and drop 10 Bowsers out of the sky or 100 goombas.

The removable joycons kind of suck. On the unit they cramp up my fingers and cause pain. I 3D printed a cradle for it that makes it way more comfortable to hold. I think you can buy those now. I bought a few of the pro controllers and its a million times better so I highly recommend them instead of the joycons.

I got mine kind of by accident when they very first came out and you couldn't find them anywhere. I was at Best Buy getting something for work and I was at the pickup counter and noticed a stack of Switch boxes sitting there. I joked with the girl about them and asked if they actually had any for sale. I figured they were all sold and waiting for pickups. She asked which color I wanted. Dang, now I would be a dick if I didn't buy it so I did. I don't regret it.

We bought our Son a Switch for his B-Day back in June. It was the only thing he wanted. I finally found one but had to pay a premium for it due to it being sold out everywhere due to the Kung Flu and everyone snatching them up. I will say it was worth it. It's a great little system, especially when you connect it to the big screen TV.

Pretty much same for me except I planned on playing diablo 3 while waiting on doctors appts and such only to have the world go to hell.

My kid actually set up the custom firmware on his tonight, he can now play all my old M.A.M.E. game roms and a bunch of games other people have created.
