Which iPad should I get that will be good for another 2 or 3years?

I have had the original full size as well and the smaller size is the best of both worlds

Depends on what you are using it for. It works great for web browsing and supports my trading platform software

I love my ipad pro. It's the large screen, a bit heavy but wouldn't want to switch to the smaller screen.

iPad pro is king at the moment. I used one at the Apple store and holy **** it blew my mind. The apple pen is actually very well designed and it just works so well. It really feels like you're simply writing like you would be on paper without any lag whatsoever.

But I could not spend 800-900 bucks right now on a tablet. So I went with the newest iPad 2017.

I have not been disappointed. It is so good for the money. The base model is 32 gb for only $329 ($309 if you have a college student buy it for you). I got the 128 gb though for $409 (student discount).

The Ipad mini 4 is only at 399 so I thought for a few more dollars it was better to buy the newest iPad which is actually faster.

I bought one of the latest mini's because I thought it's size would make it handy when I'm traveling and don't want to carry a laptop with me.

OP, unfortunately you missed out on Best buy's $100 off sale if that's how you wanted to go.

I bought a 9.7 iPad pro. The quad speakers blew me away. I liked it so much my wife bought me the iPad pro 12. We don't even use the iPad air 2 anymore. If you decide you want to go android I just bought the Asus Zenpad Z10. It is pretty amazing. Android has come a long way since my last full size tablet. The ASUS is pretty inexpensive too.

Wait it out if you dont need it right away. During Black Friday/Xmas time they usually have pretty good sales on Ipads. I had gotten a mini 2 for $175 after the mini 3 had dropped.
