So who else got their Note 8 early. Had mine since 9/7 and am loving it. Upgraded from a Note 4.

Compared to my Note 4 the Note 8 is superb.
Transitions from screen to screen are fluid.
Even with the case on I can use it one handed.
Battery is great. Bluetooth on all day and still have juice at the end of the day.
Camera is great. The dual lens set up works very well. Picture quality is excellent.
6GB of ram make phone run quickly even with multiple apps open
S Pen must be pushed in to pop out so harder to lose pen
On screen home button took a day to get used to but easy to adjust too
Screen resolution is unbelievable and crisp.

$960 is a lot for a phone but that is what high end flagship phones are going to cost now days. Look at the iPhone X. Granted I got mine for $449 using a business account upgrade but to me this phone is worth the $960.

I have a note 5. Will wait til they make one with the 600mhz band 71 capability as I work inside a concrete building... 600 mhz penetrates better and has a greater range. At least T-Mobile is on the fast track to start providing that service.. AT&T also to a lesser extent. Hopefully the Note 9.

So far, there is only one T-Mo phone that will support 600MHz band. It's an LG V90.

I would imagine more will next year.

I too am going from a Note 4 from a Note 8. Will be picking mine up Monday.

My Note 4 ran fantastic from the day I bought it, to the day it died 2 weeks ago(crushed). If it wasn't for that I wouldn't be buying a new phone.

My Note 8 will come with a few discounts and incentives so I decided to go with that over the 8S+ or a later version.

I've contemplated picking up an N8.
My N4 is going strong. Root + Nova Launcher = Win.

Not sure if it is something any of you are into, but do you know if the phone has an unlocked bootloader?
