So my note 4 finally took a dump.
Backstory
Went to att store to buy a note 8 outright. Chick told me her system will only select the monthly payment option, but I can pay it off when it arrives at store. She tries to assure me it won't change my plan. (I have an old unlimited plan)
She tried to make me sign on the line agreeing to the payment plan crap but I ask why does it say payment plan when I'm buying it outright? I ask if it can be amended to just say purchasing phone for full price? Nope. These people are like used car sale man. Try anyway to screw ya into a new plan. They tried to delete my unlimited plan a few years ago and overcharged me on some crap.
I'm able to buy online without all this funny business of payment plan stuff, so my question is..
If I order the phone, can I just swap in my sim card (assuming they are both same size) and go about my way? I can swap between my old note 4's no problem, Or do I really have to go in to "activate" the phone and be charged with some bs "upgrade fee"?
Thanks
