I haven't used one of these but looking at the specs I'm not sure that I see any advantage over Plex running on a multimedia optimised QNAP TS-451+ other than it's ability to play ISOs (a big plus). It looks like the media server that you linked supports a single hard drive (not included) meaning no redundancy beyond you backing up your rips. That's too proprietary for my taste.
I'm running Plex on a QNAP TS-451+ with four disks in RAID5 and it does the job pretty well. Because it's Plex I already have Plex clients running on my Roku and ShieldTV and don't have to mess with clients and support that may stop working or lose support if QNAP goes out of business (unlikely). On the other hand Plex's menus can be a bit confusing. I think I'd do a lot more research before plunking down any money. Try asking a few questions over in Home Theater PC (HTPC) & Media Servers forum on Audioholics.com and on AVS.
