    Need Motorola ht1000 radios programmed

I work for a security company currently that has a limited number of ht 1000 radios so I went and purchased my own. The only issue is mine will not work with the current radios we have. So my boss said to find someone that could sync them all together. I live in the inland Empire area if there is any one in this direction that can do it please let me know. I need it done prefferably by Friday.

First thing, make sure you have the same band, VHF, UHF , 800-900....look at your serial numbers or if your antennas are similar .
They have to be a compatible band-serial number.

Look for local radio dealers, Motorola, Kenwood & ask if they program older HT1000
you might find a good shop to only charge you $40. for one radio.
You have to bring a Cloning radio with you, or the exact frequencies & DPL-TPL #

Those older radios use the OEM DOS radio service software to program from Motorola
using a specific serial cable that requires a RIB Box .

If you decide to buy a cable, look on ebay for a HT1000 USB interface cable .
I can send you the software if need be, & you can program all the available channels.

See about a "cloning cable" HT 1000's are easy to clone no rib box needed. Just use one of the other radios as the host radio.

If you were up in the bay area I would program them for you, but just so you know what moond0ggie said is dead on.

Sign up on qrz.com there is probably a ham within 20 minutes of you that can program your radio.

I dont know if they can... I just know they deal in those types of radios too. Not all ham stores do.
